Registration for the 2022 FSE European Football Fans Congress (EFFC) is now open.
#EFFC22 will be hosted in Frankfurt from Thursday 21st July to Sunday 24th July by the Eintracht Frankfurt Fan Department.
The EFFC takes place every other year and is the biggest gathering of active football supporters on the continent, where they can engage with one another and the decisionmakers and major stakeholders of international football. The Thursday will be dedicated to national teams and fans’ embassies embassies ahead of UEFA EURO 2024, while the remaining days will cover a wide range of transnational topics. We will also be hosting the very first European Female+ Football Fans Meeting within the EFFC. If you would like to propose any subjects for discussion, let us know.
It also coincides with FSE’s Biennial General Meeting (BGM), which provides members with an opportunity to vote on and influence FSE’s aims, objectives, and policies, as well as to approve changes to the Constitution and elect members to the Board.
We’ll share a comprehensive programme in the coming weeks, but for now, we’ve created a general schedule. Subjects covered will include the future of European club competitions, safe standing, EURO 2024, biometric mass surveillance of fans, and the relationship between cryptocurrencies and football. If you’d like to add to the list, email us via info[at]fanseurope.org.
