FSE WELCOMES THE OPENING OF A UEFA INVESTIGATION INTO ANDERLECHT’S TICKETING POLICY FOR AWAY FANS

Following a series of complaints addressed by Football Supporters Europe (FSE) and other stakeholders regarding the Champions League ticketing policy of Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht in their away section since the beginning of the season, FSE welcomes the opening of an investigation by UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB). 

Fans travelling to Anderlecht for European games this season had to pay exceptionally high ticket prices, culminating in a €100 fee for Bayern München and Paris Saint-Germain fans.

Ten years after fans of German side 1860 Munich were attacked and injured by masked special forces of Munich police out of the blue, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) decided in favour of their complaint. But did only two fans pursue legal action? Because the others were afraid of taking legal action against the police.

RUSSIA 2018 QUALIFIER: FANS’ EMBASSIES IN SERVICE AT PLAY-OFFS

This weekend the play-offs of the World Cup qualifier for Russia 2018 take place as well as international friendlies.

#EFFC2017 – SUMMARY OF THE WORKSHOPS AND PANEL DISCUSSIONS

From 6 to 9 July 2017, more than 300 fans from all over Europe and beyond met in Gent and Lokeren (Belgium) for the European Football Fans Congress 2017 of Football Supporters Europe (FSE). They were joined by representatives of the football governing bodies (UEFA, Swedish Football League, Belgian FA, etc.), as well as other stakeholders of European Football.

In addition to the traditionnal networking between fans and the Biennal General Meeting of FSE, the EFFC 2017 offered the opportunity to take part in different workshops and plenary sessions.
