OUT! is a unique 18-month collaborative partnership between FSE, Pride in Football (PiF), Fuβballfans Gegen Homophobie (FFGH), and the Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB/URBSFA).
The purpose of the project is to bring together supporters, fan organisations, football associations, football leagues, and stakeholders to work on the fight against homophobia and the empowerment of LGBT+ stakeholders in football.
More specifically, OUT! seeks to support the further development of LGBT+ supporters’ groups, improve their communication with other parties, and, ultimately, reduce prejudices towards LGBT+ people within football through a hands-on approach and the sharing of best practice.
To this end, each partner will host a transnational network meeting in their respective nation with the support of FSE. The final insights and recommendations of the project will be published in a publicly available handbook.
