Maybe you´ve experienced a situation like this before: over many weeks, you wait eagerly for the European draw of your team, you start planning your trip, you check out hostels, pubs, stadium rules, drinking laws and you realize that to be properly prepared for your football trip, you have to retrieve your info from loads of different places and platforms. And on top of that, most of the information is only available in a language you can´t even understand.
We are fed up with this, and this is why we have started to put together all relevant travel advice for football fans in one place, in our free FSE Fans Guide App. It is an independent not-for-profit project created and developed by fans, for fans. All information has been provided by fellow football fans in order to support each other.
Just in time for the next round of qualifiers in the European club competitions, the 5th update of our FSE Fans Guide App is finally online! It is available for free download on the FSE website and via the app stores as from now. So far, we have been able to collect all essential info for more than half of the remaining clubs in the Champions and Europa League.
THE NEW UPDATE AT A GLANCE
- Information on more than 10 new clubs from all across Europe, updated information on loads more
- Fan guide info for more than 180 clubs, cities and stadia now available in the app
- Bug fixes
COMING UP NEXT
Many new teams are already in the pipeline for the sixth update and we are especially interested in information on the teams which are still taking part in this year’s European club competitions. We will also do a full update for all European Championships host cities, just before the EURO 2016 in France.
If you support any of these teams (or any other, which isn´t in the app already), or have spotted outdated information about your team: Please complete our FSE Fans’ Guide Questionnaire online. You can also download the questionnaire as MS Word document, fill it out and send it back to firstname.lastname@example.org.
