Read more ...FSE Committee members and staff were on site visits in Gijón (Spain) and St. Pölten (Austria) for the FSE Summer Network Meeting (SNM) during the last few days.

In order to find the venue for the 2018 edition of the Summer Network Meeting, two FSE delegations visited the applicants, Wolfbrigade St. Pölten and UNIPES from Gijon. During their visits they met the local organizing team, checked the logistic possibilities as well as the venues where the meeting would be held.

Manchester United fans, meanwhile, have been charged the same for their upcoming fixture at Seville.

FSE Fans’ Embassies will be on the ground at some of these matches, including the Northern Irish, Swiss and Danish Fans’ Embassies for the play-offs and the Welsh Fans’ Embassy for their friendly match in France.

Read more ...Over 70 participants from 17 countries gathered in Ljubljana (Slovenia) to discuss homophobia, prejudices and violence against LGBTIQs in the context of football and upcoming Mega Sport Events.

In Mid-November, FSE joined its partners in the “Queering football” Erasmus + project for the European Networking Conference “QUEERING FOOTBALL – Addressing Homophobia at Mega Sport Events” at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Ljubljana. 17 countries and 3 continents were represented by over 70 participants – including fans, activists, students, journalists, volunteers, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of NGO’s, sporting and public bodies, such as UEFA.

Read more ...From 6 to 9 July 2017, more than 300 fans from all over Europe and beyond met in Gent and Lokeren (Belgium) for the European Football Fans Congress 2017 of Football Supporters Europe (FSE). They were joined by representatives of the football governing bodies (UEFA, Swedish Football League, Belgian FA, etc.), as well as other stakeholders of European Football.

In addition to the traditionnal networking between fans and the Biennal General Meeting of FSE, the EFFC 2017 offered the opportunity to take part in different workshops and plenary sessions.

Following a series of complaints addressed by Football Supporters Europe (FSE) and other stakeholders regarding the Champions League ticketing policy of Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht in their away section since the beginning of the season, FSE welcomes the opening of an investigation by UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB). 

Fans travelling to Anderlecht for European games this season had to pay exceptionally high ticket prices, culminating in a €100 fee for Bayern München and Paris Saint-Germain fans.

Read more ...Since the European Football Fans Congress 2015 (Belfast) and the decision from the FSE membership to hold the #EFFC and FSE’s general meeting every 2 years, members of Football Supporters Europe are gathering every other year for an event organised by the membership and supported by FSE.

The first Summer Network Meeting took place in July 2016 in Izmir (Turkey) and was hosted by our friends and members from TARAFTAR HAKLARI DERNEGI and TarafDer. A quite legendary weekend for all participants.
