Revive the Roar! Issue 02 - The FSE Media Guide

No Media Hooligans?! FSE Media Guide ready for download!

Following our workshop on fans and media at the European Football Fans Congress 2011, we are happy to announce that the workshop results were turned into the third issue of our REVIVE THE ROAR! Fanzine which includes the FSE Media Guide, with useful tips and tricks by fans for fans on how to handle the media!

It should answer questions such as "how do you write a good press release, what should you better NOT do?" "Who should you talk to, who should you better ignore?" …and everything other burning question on the topic should be answered!

At the end of the day, the guide book should provide you with advice if you want to do media work for your fans’ group or react appropriately to allegations. E.g. the Do’s and Don’ts for a press release that a journalist is likely to read and less likely to misunderstand etc…

Furthermore, we provided some best practice examples with regards to what media tools can help you to spread…e.g. your protest message (if you should have any)!

The finalization was only possible thanks to the commitment of two of our dear Committee members and a small dedicated working group, consisting of journalists and football fans who helped with input and feedback…and last but not least, there was our Master of Design Puschel who put the finishing touches to it!

The pdf print version of REVIVE THE ROAR! 02 with the FSE Media Guide is available via this link and in the FSE Download section!

    Enjoy and use it well!
