effc2017 horizontal finalAs announced in October 2016, the 9th European Football Fans Congress will take place in Gent and Lokeren (Belgium).

From 6 to 9 July 2017, Football Supporters Europe (FSE) will gather in the North of Belgium. Register now and start planning your trip to enjoy famous Belgian beers & fries - and meet fan activists from the FSE network and beyond.

The European Football Fans Congress (#EFFC) of FSE takes place every second year and is the biggest gathering of football fans of its kind - the only event where they can regularly exchange views with decision-makers and stakeholders of international football. #EFFC2017 will be hosted from 6 to 9 July 2017 by supporters of the rival teams of Gent and Lokeren, the Supportersfederatie Gent and Front 282 Lokeren, with the support of the national umbrella organisation Belgian Supporters, KSC Lokeren, KAA Gent and Voetbal in der Stad.

The #EFFC2017 will once again be free of charge and open to all supporters whether they are ultras, members of official fan clubs, fan initiatives, representatives of fans organisations or just individual, non-organised supporters. Likewise, we are happy to welcome representatives of football governing bodies, European decision-makers, club representatives, SLOs, fanprojekt workers, researchers and lawyers working in relation with football or in relation with supporters.

With the input from FSE members and the local organising team, we are currently working on the #EFFC2017 programme that should allow exchanges between supporters and other football stakeholders on the most pressing issues for football fans in Europe.
